🏐 VOLLEY SOUTH 2025 SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS – IMPORTANT UPDATE 🏐

Dear Schools,

Due to a recent school withdrawal of three teams across both grades, we have had to update the draft draw and competition format. Please review the latest details below.

📅 Date: Sunday, 9th March 2025

🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

📍 Venue: ILT Stadium Southland

💰 Entry Fee: $160 per team

🎖 Medals for Champions!

Competition Format

🔹 Girls Grade – Two pools (one of 4 teams, one of 3). Pool winners play for 1st/2nd place, with finals continuing down the ranks. The 7th team will not have a final.

🔹 Boys Grade – Full round-robin format. No finals – the round-robin winner will be crowned Champion.

Key Deadlines

✅ School confirmations due: 20th February

✅ ​​​​​​​ Withdrawal window closes: 25th February

✅ Team lists due: 1st March

Referees & Duties

All teams must provide a full duty crew, including:✔ 1st & 2nd referees✔ 2 line judges✔ Scorer & flipper (or electronic scoreboard operator)

Volley South may assign a regional referee to some games. If officiating alone, they will manage the game as best as possible.

📩 Please submit team lists by 1st March 2025.

Doors open at 7:30 AM, with some finals finishing at 6:00 PM and others at 8:00 PM.
