Volley South, in collaboration with Sport Central, is excited to announce the return of KiwiVolley to Queenstown's primary schools. This engaging and inclusive programme is designed to improve fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, throwing, catching, passing, and striking, while fostering physical literacy in children aged 5-12.
KiwiVolley isn't just about learning the basics of volleyball—it's about enhancing children's overall athletic development. The game, adapted from adult volleyball, is tailored specifically for young players, featuring simplified rules and modified equipment. This approach encourages agility, balance, speed, and coordination, making it accessible and fun for all.
We've developed a wide range of KiwiVolley resources, including easy-to-follow booklets and videos, designed to help teachers and coaches engage students, promote success, and ensure they have fun while learning. These resources are perfect for introducing children to the game and improving their physical skills in an enjoyable and supportive environment.
Whether you're a teacher or coach, these resources will help you deliver a successful KiwiVolley experience in your school or community, fill in our contact form for a FREE taster session.
